If you really are concerned about what is going on in the country today with the urge to TAX millionaires & Billionaires you should do some homework. Socialism & Communisim over the ages have failed 100 percent. Capitalism over the course of history have up lifted people. Show me a Socialist or Communist country that has provided full Healthcare for all of its citizens. Even Canada sends its citizens here to the USA for Healthcare. People had better investigate before they do away with the golden goose. My one question is why GIVE things away to individuals and force people who are willing to work and support themselves.

Scenario: The wealthy built their businesses by hard work and a good business savvy that paid off. They created jobs and are already paying taxes. The socialist cities want social programs (free stuff for lazy people who don’t want to work) paid for by these entrepreneurs by taxing them even more. They in turn, move to a conservative state where they can thrive. End of story. Hochul was warned what would happen if they raised the tax rate but she didn’t listen. Now she’s paying the price and is begging them to return. Why should they? Burn me once, shame on you; burn me twice, shame on me. In a short period of time, she would do exactly the same thing except she would probably have a hidden clause that would heavily penalize anyone leaving the state for greener pastures. That’s what greed and a poor business sense gets you. Ditto for the other socialist states. BTW, welfare was never meant to be a permanent solution. It was supposed to be a temporary helping hand for those who fell on hard times and who qualify.
