If you freeze the rent that property owners collect, you also have to freeze the school and property taxes, freeze the utility bills, freeze the insurance, freeze the water bills, and freeze the destructive mandates coming from Albany. Can Mamdummy do that? No.
If I were a NYC landlord I’d give serious consideration to evicting my tenants because I don’t have the income to address wear, tear and usage repairs too.

It’s funny to see the rich demonizing the rich!! I believe that when you tax the rich, they will raise the price of their services or goods! It is passed on to the consumer who chanted “tax the rich!!” Who wind up paying the tax hike for the rich! They didn’t get rich by being stupid! But, you’ll get poorer by being stupid!!
