These children we have in congress have to either grow up or get out. And the older ones need a replacement, because they have been babies too long. There should be a penalty for them on a daily basis for congress in a shutdown, against the congress people who choose to have a shutdown, like a penalty for their benefits as they really don’t pay for. Like no pay for no work and if in a shutdown, minus a percentage amount off your next paycheck, and that percentage goes up, until actual work starts again. I think it’s time to compare this congress to past presidential administrations. Because these morons, take the cake.

So should their Golden Parachutes… they should also receive no benefits during government shutdown…accruing benefits, health insurance, salaries, staff salaries and benefits, etc…
Congress should be the LAST to be funded, any time these selfish know nothing people that were elected (this is how important the save act is) stop our democratic process they should have some sort of penalty. Make it so they do not get paid, most important make it so that they are required to show up and stay in their congressional office 10 hrs per day. Should they not do it immediate termination.
I totaly agree, I’ve said those things for years. BUT it will never happen, because they make the rules despite what their constituents want. The only recourse we have is to vote them out. Most everyone thinks all need to go except my senator or my representative because he (or she) is doing such a good job. The fact is after two terms in office, it becomes a career.
