I come from poor people. I think the fires are awful, however, sometimes you have to make a big demo to get a reaction. Do you remember reading about the the depression? Please do. Many corporations demand a college degree to be hired. In many states a teacher needs a Masters degree. Working as a plummer, dry wall installing, electrication, etc. you need work permits (usually yearly), equipment (get a bank loan), income tax, property tax and social security. If you think it’s easy then you haven’t done it.
Fires are an extreme. so is trying to paying to get a place to live and feeding a family!

I grew up very poor after my father passed away when I was 5 years old but I never destroyed anything because it didn’t go the way I wanted. I have never in my life been unable to find work. There are more jobs out there than Amazon and the person that does that kind of thing is low down and needs to be dealt with in a way that they will never forget.

My grandparents made in through the depression raising 2 kids and neither one of them finished high school. You need to study your history better. Of all the people who worked on the Hoover Dam, the only ones with a college degree were the architects and civil engineers and maybe the owners of the various construction companies that participated in that project. The people doing the actual work had at most a high school education. Most of jobs FDR’s new deal provided did not require a college education.
I can see there point but they went to far.they could all go off and find other jobs there are jobs out there and even some better job s then what they had.but when I was still in school I and a lot of my other friends did the same thing we made toys and when the job was over at least I had some money for my family.Not just that after school when the eason was on for picking fruit and vegetables we were out in the fields working.If we wanted to have ice cream and pop on saturday we went out of the country and picked up bottles and we always had enough for what we needed and then some.When we were in willows california I would collect bottles and cans and turn them in to make some money for me and my son.You see he is handicapped but we got by will little over 200.oo a month pluss what I made.not rich but rich enough because God took care of us and we were able to help others by dupster diving.
