My suggestion for securing cockpit from would-be hijacker. Allow them access to the cockpit door area, close a door behind them, open the floor below them, operate a plunger above them to a cage below deck, or just an opening leading to a looonnnnggg first step. close deck floor, retract plunger, open secondary door, continue flight.
