My parents were heroine addicts. I remember living without power. Without water. I’m a 35 yr old white guy and I have worked my ass off since I graduated high school. I now make 31 an hr, which really ain’t shit, but compared to where I came from I make a lot more than a lot of my friends and family. I pay a mortgage, own my car.
