It’s amazing how fast the gas stations can raise the price of gas but it takes months to lower it.
I wish someone would open a investigation into this .

yes, but you must remember that it is not only the MIddle East oil, it is the market flow, the price of barrel of oil goes up and down and that makes the price at the pump. I agree, gas prices should be lower, but then again, the market is the problem, if the barrel of oil would be 70 or 60, then prices would come down. at one time barrel oil was 30 to 40 dollars a barrel, and prices were very low. do you understand.
Rafael, please don’t take this personally, but I ain’t buying the “market flow” reasoning. The USA does not rely on middle east oil, it does not cost the American oil companies one cent more to extract our own oil than it did one year ago. The American oil companies are price gouging the American people, and NOBODY and I mean NOBODY in Washington seems to care. Now, I have voted for Trump for president 3 times, and I support the destruction of the Islamic regime in Iran, but it’s time for Donald to pull his head out of his ass and force the American oil companies to tow the line, before the idiots on the left re-take our gov’t.
Surely, American companies produce oil at lower cost, than other nations, possibly able to sell at $65 per barrel. However, oil is traded on the global market, where current price is $85 per barrel. Why should I sell at $65, when I can get $85 ? In our world, steady, plentiful, reliable, secure supply is more important than cheap supply.

There’s a scarcity in other places in the world. Therefore our oil companies are selling to the highest bidders. If you have a situation like this would you be patriotic and sell to your countrymen for less? Keep in mind that Corporations exist to make money for their shareholders.

The oil companies only care about their bottom dollar. The gas stations themselves are doing it as well (Price gouging)!
