Not surprised about DB departure. His appearances on TV showed a totally frustrated assistant director of the FBI. He facial expression & cautiously worded responses reflected an uneasiness in his answers. Dan is an action, straight shooter, tell it like it is guy but appeared as if he was forced to hold back in the interviews. Obviously, he was dealing with the uncompromising political BS that is so prevalent in DC & has had his fill. Sad, because he is what was needed to help clean up the FBI.
